The Training Academy

Welcome to the first blog post for R.S Training Academy.

The passion to start an academy has come from my 21+ years within the beauty industry. After having a salon of my own for such a long time I wanted something new to career progress, (You will soon learn I am very self motivated).

I have spent a lot of time working on my own clients database building in new services through events and workshops that have been extremely sucessful. These evolved during lockdown into digital workshops and virtual classes. Which in turn has meant I have been teaching others salon owners how to create, run and market them.

Being hands on with my own clients I feel can only elevate my knowledge to teach and to stay current with what is happening.

If you do your research on me you will also find I am a dedicated brand ambassador for the number one skin care brand, dermalogica. This has given me great opportunities to up skill and even be on their webinars (and previous 'human connected' events) as a guest speaker. Lockdown saw me hosting a whole series of 'ask the ambassadors' webnairs where I grouped therapists together and discuss a whole range of salon business topics questioning my fellow amazing ambassadors.

You will always find me on a project of some sorts and I love to network and work with people. I love creating content and to help people learn.

It felt natural, that not only should I produce a training academy, with practical training for therapists to learn the skills of the treatment room, but to evolve some current online business courses and workshops too, helping salons to evolve and discover more ways for earning as I have.
